About the Role

Babylist is seeking a contract Sourcer to help grow our mighty team. You will use tools, data, and some creativity to collaborate on targeted recruiting strategies and build solid candidate pipelines. You’ll work closely with the Head of Talent on open roles and requirements, best practices, and keep an eye for quality over quantity.

This will start as a four-week contract with a focus on key technical and non-technical roles.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Head of Talent and hiring managers to understand hiring needs
  • Strategically plan for and execute on pipeline build for hard-to-fill roles
  • Identify, engage, and manage candidates that are a great match for Babylist
  • Build and nurture relationships with top talent in the industry
  • Screen resumes and interview candidates
  • Represent the company with integrity and professionalism

Who You Are

  • You enjoy networking and connecting with people and identifying business and candidate needs
  • You can communicate complex insights in an easy-to-understand way for a wide range of audiences
  • You’re self-directed, proactive, and able to define and execute projects independently; you can prioritize without being overwhelmed
  • A strong communicator both written and verbal and quick to align with people
  • Experienced and comfortable offering feedback or streamlining/improving processes

What You’ve Done

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred
  • 2+ years experience sourcing in-house or agency
  • Comfortable with LinkedIn Recruiter, Lever ATS (HireTual, Gem, or any other sourcing tools is a bonus)
  • Experience sourcing for technical positions with high standards for talent (Software Engineering, Mobile Development, Product Management)
  • Experience also sourcing non-technical roles (Accounting, Marketing, Operations, etc.)
  • Sourced candidates with a solid track record of acceptance and retention (bonus)
  • Passion/interest in and understanding of technology also a bonus
